LAUNCHING AND DOCKING
LAUNCHING:
We suggest that you launch at Severn Point State Launch which is about a mile south of the Show Boat Motel. You CAN NOT leave your trailer or tow vehicle at the launch. We have made arrangements with Seneca Lake Tire to store your trailer in the lot adjacent to their facility. That is also a good spot to fuel your boat before your launch.
DOCKING & MOORING:
Docking at the Show Boat is limited to 12 docks. The docks are on a first paid, first serve basis at the cost of $150.00 each.
Otherwise, there are plenty of spots to moor and raft off other boats in front of the Show Boat. There is also limited docking and rafting off space available at the Rainbow Hotel, which is about 100 yards south of the Show Boat.

After reviewing our new 2009 insurance policy for the event it has been brought to our attention again that a Certificate of Insurance for your watercraft is MANDARTORY and a copy must be in our possession.
The certificate must show at least $500,00.00 Watercraft liability coverage per occurrence. To obtain a certificate of insurance you simply call your insurance agent, request the document (making sure that you have the proper coverage), and have them send it to you.
A umbrella policy is acceptable as long as the boat is listed and coverage is documented.
NEW CERTIFICATE IS NEEDED EACH YEAR
Upon arrival at the Pirates Run turn it in when completing registration. It's a rather simple step and it aids in our attempt to run a safe event.
If you register online you can fax the certificate to 315-536-3188. If you have and questions at all, feel free to contact the SPBA at 607-594-4188 or 315-536-3188
