The annual Seneca Power Boat Association's Pirates Run Fundraiser garnered $5,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Word is in from Hank Kimball that the annual Seneca Power Boat Association Pirates Run Fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation brought in $5,000 to fund research for a cure and a better quality of life for those who suffer from Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

This year's event was held at the Showboat Motel along Seneca Lake. In just four years, the SPBA has raised more than $30,000 for the foundation.
