Word is in from Hank Kimball that the annual Seneca Power Boat Association Pirates Run Fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation brought in $5,000 to fund research for a cure and a better quality of life for those who suffer from Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
This year's event was held at the Showboat Motel along Seneca Lake. In just four years, the SPBA has raised more than $30,000 for the foundation.
